The L3270 supports print, scan, and copy functions in one device. It offers USB, WiFi, and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity and is compatible with Epson iPrint, Email Print, and Remote Print Driver. Its LCD control panel and sleek black design make it easy to use and space-saving.

Printing

Using Epson’s Micro Piezo™ print head technology, the printer delivers sharp, vibrant results with a high print resolution of up to 5760 x 1440 DPI. It uses four dye-based inks: Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. The nozzle configuration includes 180 nozzles for black and 59 per colour, with a minimum droplet size of just 3 picoliters.

Print speeds reach up to 10 pages per minute for black (ISO) and 5 pages per minute for colour (ISO), or up to 33 ppm for black and 15 ppm for colour on plain paper. Borderless 10 x 15 cm photos print in as little as 27 seconds.

Scanning

The L3270 features a Contact Image Sensor (CIS) scanner with an optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 DPI. A4 scan speeds at 200 DPI are 11 seconds for black and 28 seconds for colour. Supported output formats include BMP, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, PDF, multi-TIFF, and PICT.

Paper Handling

The printer includes one 100-sheet input tray and a 30-sheet output tray. Manual duplex printing is supported. Paper formats include A4, A5, A6, B5, 10 x 15 cm, 13 x 18 cm, DL and C6 envelopes, Letter, Legal, and custom sizes. It handles paper weights from 64 to 300 g/m².

Ink Yield

Thanks to EcoTank technology, the included ink bottles offer up to 8,100 pages in black and up to 6,500 pages in colour, drastically reducing long-term printing costs.

Compatibility

The Epson L3270 works with Windows XP through Windows 10, including Windows Server editions from 2003 to 2016. It is also compatible with macOS X 10.6.8 or later.

Energy & Power

The printer uses 12 watts while copying, 4.5 watts in ready mode, and 0.7 watts in sleep mode. It consumes just 0.2 watts when powered off. The typical energy consumption (TEC) is 0.15 kWh per week. Input voltage ranges from 100 to 240V at 50–60Hz.
