Printing Performance
Featuring 6-colour ink support—including black pigment and dye-based Photo Black, Grey, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow—the L8160 produces lab-quality photo prints at resolutions up to 5760 x 1440 DPI.

ISO speeds reach 16 ppm for monochrome and 12 ppm for colour. Photo printing takes as little as 15 seconds (10 x 15 cm). Duplex print speeds reach 6 ppm (mono) and 5 ppm (colour). Ideal for up to 800 pages/month duty cycle.

Scanning
The built-in CIS scanner provides up to 1200 x 4800 DPI optical resolution. It supports formats including PDF, searchable PDF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, and multi-TIFF—ideal for archiving and editing.

Media Handling
The L8160 includes three paper trays:
100-sheet standard tray, 20-sheet photo tray, and a rear feed for special media up to 1.3 mm thick.
Supports automatic duplex printing and borderless output.
Prints directly on CDs/DVDs and accepts fine art papers.
Supported sizes include A4, A5, A6, B5, C6, DL, Letter, 10x15 cm, 13x18 cm, and user-defined sizes.
Handles paper weights from 64 to 300 g/m².
