Role Overview

As ERP Technical Support, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting Odoo ERP systems for our clients. You will investigate system issues, configure ERP modules, assist with implementations, and work closely with both clients and our development team to ensure systems operate efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, understanding business processes, and delivering excellent customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Odoo ERP users
  • Diagnose and resolve ERP system issues
  • Configure and maintain Odoo modules
  • Investigate bugs and identify root causes
  • Perform system testing following updates and changes
  • Assist with ERP implementation and deployment projects
  • Support data imports, exports and migrations
  • Configure user permissions, workflows and system settings
  • Liaise with developers regarding customisations and software enhancements
  • Document issues, solutions and system configurations
  • Deliver user training and guidance where required
  • Ensure timely resolution of client support tickets

Preferred

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases
  • Understanding of Python
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and Odoo ERP
  • Familiarity with APIs and system integrations
  • Understanding of accounting, inventory, CRM or manufacturing workflows
  • Experience in ERP implementation or technical support
