Role Overview

As an ERP Project Manager at Centric, you will be responsible for managing client projects from initial discovery through implementation, testing, training and go-live.

You will work closely with clients, consultants and developers to understand business requirements, translate them into clear project deliverables, manage priorities and ensure projects move forward successfully.

This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, communicates confidently, understands business processes and enjoys solving problems across different industries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ERP implementation projects from discovery through go-live
  • Lead client meetings and gather detailed business requirements
  • Understand existing client processes and identify how they can be improved
  • Translate client requirements into clear tasks for consultants and developers
  • Create and maintain project plans, priorities, deadlines and dependencies
  • Coordinate work between clients, developers, consultants and internal departments
  • Monitor project progress and identify delays or blockers before they become problems
  • Manage project scope and identify additional or out-of-scope requirements
  • Test completed functionality before presenting it to clients
  • Prepare meeting notes, decisions, action points and follow-ups
  • Manage client expectations and communicate project progress clearly
  • Ensure required client information and data is received on time
  • Coordinate user training, testing and go-live preparation
  • Maintain accurate project documentation within Odoo
  • Support clients during implementation and initial go-live periods

Must Have

  • Previous experience in project management, business analysis or a similar client-facing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Comfortable leading meetings with clients and decision-makers
  • Ability to understand and document business processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confident working independently and taking ownership
  • Comfortable working with technical teams
  • Fluent in both English and Maltese
  • Valid driving licence

Nice to have

  • Experience with Odoo or another ERP system
  • Experience managing software or IT implementation projects
  • Understanding of accounting, sales, purchasing and inventory processes
  • Experience writing software or system requirements
  • Experience working with developers or technical teams
  • Knowledge of APIs, integrations and software workflows
  • Experience with project management tools or methodologies
  • Previous experience working with SMEs or business owners
